GTA 6 characters: everyone Rockstar has named so far

Rockstar frames Grand Theft Auto VI around two people: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.”

What follows is only what Rockstar has written about each character on its own pages. Where the community has filled a gap with a theory, this page leaves the gap.

The two leads

Lucia Caminos

Rockstar's line for Lucia is “Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk.” Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary; sheer luck got her out. In Rockstar's words, Lucia has learned her lesson — only smart moves from here.

Jason Duval

Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, he ended up in the Keys working for local drug runners. Rockstar sums him up as a man who “wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder”.

The named supporting cast

Six other people get a name and a description of their own on the same pages. They are the ones worth knowing before the story starts.

Raul Bautista

A seasoned bank robber, described by Rockstar through confidence, charm and cunning, always hunting for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards. His line: “Experience counts.”

Brian Heder

A classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys, still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori. Rockstar notes he has been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.

Cal Hampton

Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian's. Rockstar describes Cal as safest at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open — hence his line, “What if everything on the internet was true?”

Boobie Ike

A local Vice City legend who acts like it: one of the few to turn time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. Rockstar's note is that Boobie is all smiles until it is time to talk business.

Dre'Quan Priest

More hustler than gangster, per Rockstar's description — even while dealing on the streets to make ends meet, breaking into music was the goal. His tag: “Only Raw... Records”.

Real Dimez

Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school, who turned shaking down local dealers into cash through rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. Rockstar's line for the duo: “Viral videos. Viral hooks.”
