Lucia Caminos in GTA 6: who she is, in Rockstar's own words

Rockstar's bio for Lucia Caminos reads: “Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Lucia's learned her lesson — only smart moves from here.”

Two things in that bio are load-bearing and worth reading slowly: she went to prison for fighting for her family, and she did not earn her way out — “sheer luck got her out”.

She is one half of the story. Lucia and Jason “have always known the deck is stacked against them”, and after an easy score goes wrong they are “forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive”.

Playing as Lucia

PlayStation describes Grand Theft Auto VI as a single-player experience, and Rockstar's synopsis puts Lucia and Jason on the same run, relying on each other to get out alive.

Whether you switch to her freely, and how much of the game is hers, is not described anywhere in the material this page tracks.

The claims this page will not carry

Her place in the history of the series, her voice, her age, the names of the family she fought for: none of that is on the record yet. Community write-ups fill those gaps; this page leaves them open until a source closes them.
