GTA 6 radio stations: what Rockstar has actually confirmed about in-game radio
Rockstar has opened the subject of in-game radio in Grand Theft Auto VI: a Newswire post dated October 8, 2026 says in-game radio stations are soon to be broadcasting live across Leonida, calling them the latest selection of the Grand Theft Auto series' most distinct musical element — without naming a single station.

Grand Theft Auto VI is getting in-game radio stations. In a Rockstar Newswire post titled The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations, published on October 8, 2026, the studio wrote that soon to be broadcasting live across Leonida is the latest selection of the Grand Theft Auto series' most distinct musical element: in-game radio stations.
So there will be something to turn on in the car. That sentence is also the entire public record on the subject — and this page is built to stop exactly where it stops.
What the Newswire post actually says
- Grand Theft Auto VI will have in-game radio stations.
- Rockstar calls them the latest selection of the Grand Theft Auto series' most distinct musical element.
- They are described as soon to be broadcasting live across Leonida.
- The post carrying all of this is titled The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations and is dated October 8, 2026.
Read it once more and notice what is doing the work: a promise of stations, a place for them to play, and a day on the post. Everything a listener actually wants to know — call signs, hosts, what comes out of the speakers — is simply not in there.
No station names, no DJs, no songs yet
When the lineup does land, it will land with a source of its own, and this page is where it goes. Until then, a page that invented call signs would be guessing in a nicer font.
In-game radio is not GTA VI: The Album
Two different things happen to be about music here. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is a record Rockstar sells: the Rockstar Store describes it as 34 original tracks that capture the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto VI's world of Vice City and Leonida, featuring a genre-defying roster of the most exciting artists in the world, in an edition that comes with full album audio CD and booklet in jewel case.
A disc you put on a shelf is not a station you tune into while driving. The songs on that record do not tell you what plays on the dial inside the game, and nothing published so far maps one onto the other. Treat them as separate things, because so far that is what they are.
Will GTA 6 have radio stations?

That is the answer in full. The longer version of this page exists mostly to keep the short one from being padded out with things nobody has shown yet.
