GTA 6 map: the state of Leonida, place by place

Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga — the places Rockstar itself names in the state of Leonida, and nothing beyond them.

Last updated October 19, 2026

Grand Theft Auto VI is set in the state of Leonida, with Vice City at its centre. Rockstar's own framing: “Vice City, USA. The darkest side of the sunniest place in America.”

The story Rockstar describes runs across the whole state — Jason and Lucia end up “in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida”.

The places Rockstar names

Rockstar's Only in Leonida pages invite you to explore six places by name. That list is the honest floor of what is known about the map today.

Place	Named by Rockstar as
Vice City	Explore Vice City
Leonida Keys	Explore Leonida Keys
Grassrivers	Explore Grassrivers
Port Gellhorn	Explore Port Gellhorn
Ambrosia	Explore Ambrosia
Mount Kalaga	Explore Mount Kalaga

Where the visual material comes from

Rockstar's official site carries Trailer 1, Trailer 2 and a video titled “An Extended Look”. Those are the sources any frame-by-frame reading of the map has to start from.

How this hub grows

Each place above earns its own page here once there is sourced detail to fill it — a description from Rockstar, a location in a trailer, a landmark named on the record.

Until then it stays a list. A hub that names what is known beats a map drawn from guesses.
